Quick Start — Post Your First Car in 3 Minutes
Follow these 5 steps to go from zero to your first Facebook Marketplace listing.

Install the extension — Add EZAutoList from the Chrome Web Store and pin it to your toolbar.

Log in — Open the extension, sign in with your email and the password from your welcome email.

Go to a vehicle page — Navigate to any vehicle on your dealership website. You'll see a blue EZ button appear on the page.

Click the blue EZ button — The extension pulls all the vehicle details, photos, and pricing automatically. A panel pops up showing everything.

Click "Post to Facebook Marketplace" — A new tab opens, the form fills itself, and you just hit Publish.

1 Installation & Login
Get EZAutoList installed and logged in — takes under 2 minutes.

Install from Chrome Web Store — Click "Add to Chrome" on the EZAutoList extension page.
You should see a small EZ icon appear in your Chrome toolbar.

Pin the extension — Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome's toolbar, then pin EZAutoList so it's always visible.

Set your password, then log in - Use the link in your welcome email to set your password first. Then open EZAutoList, sign in with that email + password, and you are ready to scrape.
You should see "Subscription Active" with a green checkmark in the extension.
Tip: Check your spam folder if you do not see the welcome email. It comes from simonpark@ezautolist.com. If you paid and still do not have it after a few minutes, contact support before installing so we can fix it fast.
Before your first scrape: Make sure you are logged in, your subscription is active, and you are on your dealership's authorized inventory website.
2 Your First Scrape
Scraping pulls all the vehicle details from your dealership website automatically — year, make, model, price, mileage, photos, everything.

Go to your dealership website — Navigate to your inventory page where vehicles are listed.

Click a vehicle — Open any vehicle's detail page (the page with all the specs, photos, and pricing).

Click the EZAutoList button — You'll see a blue button on the page. Click it to scrape the vehicle.

Review & Post — A panel pops up showing everything that was captured. Click "Post to Facebook Marketplace" to list it instantly.
Tip: The scraper works on most dealer websites automatically. If it doesn't pick up your site, contact support and we'll add it within 24 hours.
3 Posting to Facebook Marketplace
EZAutoList auto-fills the entire Facebook Marketplace listing form for you — vehicle details, price, description, photos, everything.

Click "Post to Facebook" — Either from the scrape panel or from the extension popup.

Watch it fill — A new tab opens to Facebook Marketplace. The extension fills in year, make, model, price, mileage, description, and uploads all photos.
You'll see each field fill in automatically. Photos upload one at a time — give it a moment.

Review & Publish — Double-check everything looks good, then click Facebook's "Publish" button to post.
Note: Facebook has a daily posting limit. If you hit it, wait a few hours and try again. Spacing out your posts throughout the day helps avoid the limit.
4 Managing Your Inventory
All scraped vehicles are saved in your extension and synced across devices. You can view, manage, and re-post anytime.

Open the extension popup — Click the EZAutoList icon to see your current inventory.

Browse your vehicles — Scroll through your list. Click any vehicle to see full details, copy descriptions, or download photos.

Delete vehicles — Click the trash icon on any vehicle you no longer need.

5 AI-Generated Descriptions
EZAutoList uses AI to write professional listing descriptions based on the vehicle's specs. Choose from multiple styles.

Select a style — Choose from Professional, Facebook (casual), High Energy, Minimal, Luxury, or Custom.

Click "Generate" — The AI writes a description using all the vehicle's details.

Copy or post — Use "Copy Description" to paste it anywhere, or let the auto-filler include it when posting to Facebook.
Custom prompts: Want a specific writing style? Go to Settings → Custom AI Prompt and tell the AI exactly how you want descriptions written. Select "Custom" as your style to use it.
6 Settings
Customize EZAutoList to match your workflow.
- Dealer Name — Used in AI-generated descriptions. Set this to your dealership's name.
- Vehicle Condition — Default condition auto-selected on Facebook (Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor).
- Clean Title — Automatically checks "Clean title" on Facebook listings.
- Button Position — Move the scrape button to a different corner if it overlaps with your dealer site.
- Custom AI Prompt — Write your own instructions for how the AI should generate descriptions.

7 Refresh & Sold Detection
Keep your inventory up to date by scanning your dealer site for changes.

Click "Refresh" — The extension scans your dealer site and compares it to your saved inventory.

Sold vehicles — Cars no longer on your dealer site show up as "Sold." The extension can auto-delete them from Facebook too.

Price changes — If a vehicle's price changed on your site, you'll see the old vs new price and can update it on Facebook with one click.
Tip: Run a refresh every day or two to catch sold vehicles and price changes before customers notice stale listings.
8 Referral Program
Save money by referring other dealers to EZAutoList.

- Share your link — Find your unique referral link and code in the extension's Settings → Referrals section.

EZAutoList works with most dealer website platforms including DealerInspire, Dealer.com, DealerOn, and many others. If your site isn't supported, contact us and we'll add it within 24 hours — no extension update needed.
Why am I hitting Facebook's daily posting limit?
Facebook limits how many listings you can create per day. This is a Facebook restriction, not an EZAutoList limitation. Try spacing your posts throughout the day instead of posting all at once. Your limit typically increases as your account builds posting history.
Does EZAutoList work on multiple devices?
Yes! Your inventory syncs across all devices automatically. Scrape vehicles on your desktop at work and post from your laptop at home — everything stays in sync.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel anytime from your account settings. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds for partial months.
What if the scraper misses some vehicle details?
Different dealer sites structure their data differently. If the scraper is missing details on your site, let us know — we can push a config update that fixes it instantly, no extension update required.
How do I reset my password?
Click "Forgot password?" on the extension login screen and enter your email. You'll receive a password reset link within a few minutes.
